ARCOlisboa 2022, Opening Lisboa Section, 19.05.2022 > 22.05.2022

ARCOlisboa turns the spotlight on new galleries which, either because of their short trajectory or because they are new on the Portuguese scene, present interesting proposals and enable the discovery of other creators. Through the Opening Lisboa section, co-curated by Luiza Teixeira de Freitas and Chus Martínez, the fair provided a space to explore 11 galleries including Double V, Fran Reus, Lehmann + Silva, Silvestre, Verve, o ATM and Intersticio.

Marker 2015 // Art Dubai, 18-21.3.2015

Marker is Art Dubai’s curated programme of galleries and artspaces, which focuses each year on a particular theme or geography. This section aims to exemplify the fair’s role as a site of discovery and cross-cultural exchange, and is a feature of Art Dubai’s extensive not-for-profit programming. Curated by Luiza Teixeira de Freitas, Marker took – for the first time – a multidisciplinary approach, dwelling on its broad theme through honed, specific lines of enquiry. The programme, located within the Art Dubai Contemporary gallery halls, included artists’ books, sound projects, performance and film, as well as drawing, painting and installation. Teixeira de Freitas worked with artists and commercial and non-commercial organisations across the region to develop this dynamic programme.

SP-Arte 2018 - Solo Projects, 12.04.2018 > 15.04.2018

The Solo Projects sector is dedicated to individual artist shows providing the public with an immersion in the production and trajectory of arising names. Once again, Luiza Teixeira de Freitas signed the project, which in 2018 brought together 16 projects of different generations and styles.
